Dana Mitchell is one of the main protagonists in Cardfight!! Vanguard. She is the Pink Lightspeed Ranger.
Background[]
She is the daughter of Captain Mitchell and Janet Mitchell. She has an older brother and a younger half-sister that are Power Rangers. Jane Mitchell is the Orange Lightspeed Ranger and Ryan Mitchell is the Titanium Ranger.
Dana is serious, intellectual, caring and level-headed. She and her sister gathers the team together from all over Mariner Bay, and is a valuable asset to the team as one of the Rangers. Dana has a very brief stint as a model, but she resigns when it starts to interfere in her Ranger duties.
She and Jane meet Carter, Chad, Kelsey and Joel for the first time. She fell in love with the new Red Ranger completely. In their room, Dana tell Jane that she like Carter and was surprised that her sister also like him. They both agree to shared him. Carter came their room and Dana blushed. Carter asked Jane and Dana to be his girlfriends which they agree as Dana and Jane like him when they first met.
She is later reconciled with her long-lost brother, Ryan, who joins them as the Titanium Ranger.
Dana and Carter kissed in one of the hallways after the Demonite's fight with Jane standing next to Carter.
During the series, she develops feelings for Carter Grayson, the Red Ranger, but it's unknown if she has expressed them yet, the feelings seems to be mutual. An example is in the episode The Last Ranger, when the Rangers, save Dana, lose their memories, Carter sees Dana get hurt and it restores his memories.
Following the defeat of Queen Bansheera, Dana fulfilled her dream of becoming a doctor and practices as a pediatrician. She returns to duty and fights alongside the Time Force Rangers when Vypra returns from the dead. She fought alongside Jen Scotts, her Pink Ranger successor and the Pink Time Force Ranger.

She wore a pink shirt that representative her ranger color with black skirt. She wore a Lightspeed Morpher on her left wrist. She also wore her Lightspeed Rescue jacket with the number 5 on the patch. At the beach she wore flowered pink and orange bikini.
